Well, Iraq was interesting. I learned a few things about the world and myself and now that I'm back I can say that I'm glad to have done it.
It's a new year. I'm a year older and hopefully wiser than I was this time last year. To that effect, it is my intention, my new year's resolution if you will, to be more productive this year. I've spent the last few years in a kind of artistic limbo and I'm finally sick of sitting around playing Xbox all day while a number of WIPs sit collecting dust.
I'm back in classes trying to finish a BA in anything! I have three AA's (Industrial Design, Liberal Arts, and Computer Technician) but somehow they still don't add up to a proper degree. I intend to finish the last year or so of requirements (all upper division headaches) and then move on to a teaching program. Yep, I want to be an art teacher. What is it they say about those that can't do?...oh never mind.
I'm also going to make an honest effort to compile a new portfolio. I'm the worst at documenting my own work and often scrap a finished piece before getting a photo (I only have so much clay...and space).
Thanks to those who have been supportive over the last year. I wish you all luck and success in your artistic endeavors.
Best regards,
The artist formerly known as MrEchs. (That's right, I'm changing it in and effort to shake of the chains of the past and honor my new found sense of direction. You may now call me...ARTISAN X)
don't be strangers, let me know that you stopped by.
